About This Webinar

As AI becomes embedded in both learning and clinical practice, how does medical education assessment need to evolve to ensure it continues to measure genuine knowledge and competence?

In this webinar, moderated by David Game, panellists Shiran Juttla, Dr Juan José Beunza Nuin and Pippa Furey will explore the current climate of assessment in an AI-enabled world, the issues this has raised – such as shadow AI use among students – and the opportunities it creates for redesigning assessment and supporting faculty. The session will also examine how AI should be integrated into assessment to ensure students' core competencies are properly developed, as well as the practical realities of assessment change that institutions and faculty must navigate.

Although the webinar will be in English, there will be real-time AI-generated Spanish closed captions.
